Scotland Health Care System
is the community's health care system. Our community owned and operated not-for-profit organization includes Scotland Memorial Hospital, Scotland Regional Comprehensive Care, Hospice of Scotland County, the Edwin Morgan Center, Scotland Urgent Care Center, Scotland Home Health, Inc. and Scotland Memorial Foundation. Our mission is to make our community healthier by delivering high quality, cost effective, customer focused health care services.
We continue to expand our role to improve our community's health by recognizing the community's needs and developing programs to satisfy them. At Scotland Health Care System we're also dedicated to strengthening and maintaining the health of people living and working in Scotland County.
This goal is achieved through our highly qualified staff of health care professionals. They represent a diverse range of primary and specialty care physicians - from family medicine to cardiology and orthopedics. Our occupational health staff helps local business and industry maintain a healthy workforce and prevent injury.
Minor injuries and illnesses are treated at Scotland Urgent Care Center with major emergencies being handled 24 hours a day at our fully equipped Emergency Center.
In 1996, we celebrated our 50th year of making this community healthier. Offering a full range of health care services, including inpatient and outpatient treatment, skilled nursing care, hospice, managed care network management and primary care treatment in rural settings, Scotland Health Care System is prepared to serve its customers for many years to come.
Regardless of your health care needs, we provide the resources you need to maintain a healthy and productive life.
